I purchased this coffee table at an auction, it had so many scratches on the top, so I sanded it down and restained the top and painted the legs and base chalk paint in antique white. Then I distressed the legs and base a bit and  put a dark wax on it.

The Before and After
I purchased these barstools at a resale shop last weekend and had an idea what I wanted to paint them. So after stripping and sanding the old finish off, I painted the base a turquoise and stained the seat a dark walnut. I love how it came out, one down and one to go!
